We had ordered and installed the drip pans and when we took a look, we knew we needed new elements. Those were perfect; exact replacement. The problem was on the eight inch units, the rim of the drip pan touched the element. It was a simple matter of removing a small bit of the drip pan where the element enters. Aircraft snips and a little polishing with a Dremel tool, and all is well. Wife loves the new elements. Read more

SSVD48600Pon finally popped the control panel loose from the top of the stove. Took some manipulation as the stove is more than 20 yrs. old With a screwdriver finally popped the switch loose. Applied the new switch. Popped the top back to the control panel. Put the screws back in and everything was back to normal. Read more

I searched on your website for a replacement stem. Unfortunately the stem is not sold separately. I purchased the entire valve after confirming with your online rep that I was ordering the correct part. I received the valve in 2 days removed the stem and inserted it directly into the existing burner valve. Perfect fit easy installation and burner works as it should. Simply repair and I probably saved $100 by not calling a repair tech to come to my home. Read more

The parts arrived in short time. Had to go to YouTube to learn how to get the door off. My range is about 2004 model. The YouTube video I found did not represent my installation but gave me enough information to remove the clip so the hinge could come free. Installing the handle was difficult to impossible to get the attaching screw in. I finally had to drill out the screw receptacle a bit to where I could get the screw in. Used the advice found on appliancepartspro.com and ordered a new Spark Module. They said that this is a known issue with my particular model. I am happy to say that everything went as smooth as silk and had watched the instructional video a couple of times while my part was on the way. The new Spark Module is a genuine OEM Whirlpool part that was a direct fit with no modifications needed. Found the parts on Appliance pros (love the website navigation); ordered on a Sunday afternoon and they were delivered on Tuesday afternoon. I had the drawer repaired within 15 minutes of Fed Ex delivering the package. No tools required other than my fingers! The original part was riveted to the drawer, these replacements are bolts with nuts and lock washers. Makes me wonder why this was not the original design. REPLACED NEW RIGHT FRONT POWER BURNER. THIS DID NOT FIX THE PROBLEM. I THEN REPLACED THE BURNER CONNECTING SWITCH BY FOLLOWING THE INSTRUCTIONS ON YOUR VIDEO. BURNER HEATS UP NORMALLY, BUT I DON'T KNOW YET IF IT WILL SUDDENLY GO TO THE HIGH SETTING. IT WAS A SPORADIC PROBLEM I WAS HAVING...SO I'M HOPING THIS SOLVES THE ISSUE. I looked on line for a parts manual, then typed in a part, and this site came up. They had all the parts I needed. I never did a job like this, but the parts manual pictures made it simple, and then this site made it simple to order the parts.
