Jennifer S King George , VA October 20, 2015 Plastic arm that allows ice to fall on samsung rf256abbm Didn't know what to call the part - got on chat one evening and the wonderful customer service rep knew exactly how to direct me - and even ordered the part for me! It arrives 2 days later - and we fixed our problem! Seems like breaking the plastic arm when the ice sensor starts to fall down happens rather often - 2nd time we have replaced it - but the fix is easy. Wish there was a permanent fix for the ice sensor - I don't think we have the problem solved just yet - but the plastic arm replacement went well! Use this company when looking for any and all parts! Peter W Northfield , IL August 08, 2017 Appliance: Samsung Refrigerator RF221NCTASR/AA-0001 Water dispenser button inside Samsung refrigerator broke. I looked on the internet for advice on how to remove and found little help. I looked for the part, had a glitch on appliancepartspros.com.'s website, called and got straightened out right away. I paid for "two business day" delivery when I ordered on Friday morning. Got the part the next day, Saturday, in the morning. Total customer satisfaction. Guessed right on the removal technique. Two 1.25" wide (standard) putty knives used in tandem like removing a bicycle tire. One flexible and one stiff works best. Work your way up from the bottom on the vertical edge face facing you. I have fully photo documented the removal and replacement procedure. Anyone interested in me posting it? Got an Ice Guide as back up since I was paying for shipping anyways. I fixed the last one with epoxy and steel washer "splints". Happy repairs! Mike K Youngtown , AZ May 16, 2017 Appliance: Samsung Refrigerator RF266ABBP/XAA Ice maker in our samsung rf266abbp fridge was out of action Once I had the replacement parts, the fix was easy. No need to purchase an entirely new ice-maker module. The existing one is held in place with two screws. Once those are out, slide it back and disconnect the power connection. I had to replace both my ice-tray and the ice-full guide since these had been snapped off by a careless baby sitter when she forced the freezer open. The ice sensor was also hanging down because the same sitter didn't know what the foam cover was for and threw it away. :( Once everything was back in place, I re-connected the power and screwed it back in. Then tested it using the reset switch to verify the fix. Walla! We now have a functioning ice-maker again. Very easy fix, really. Read More...
