How to replace Refrigerator Temperature Sensor Bracket. Once I had the replacement parts, the fix was easy. No need to purchase an entirely new ice-maker module. The existing one is held in place with two screws. Once those are out, slide it back and disconnect the power connection. I had to replace both my ice-tray and the ice-full guide since these had been snapped off by a careless baby sitter when she forced the freezer open. The ice sensor was also hanging down because the same sitter didn't know what the foam cover was for and threw it away. :( Once everything was back in place, I re-connected the power and screwed it back in. Then tested it using the reset switch to verify the fix. Walla! We now have a functioning ice-maker again. Very easy fix, really. Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: 15-30 minutes
