Ordered the part (surprised it was even available after such a long time). It took my wife and myself to figure out the how to do the replacement..since there were no specific instructions. We discoved it along the way and did not break anything else. Took about 15 to 20 minutes to get it done. We would have been spending $700 to replace the dishwasher had the part not been available. Searched Google for error code, found some info indicating the touch pad was the problem. The info I found was not completely clear. I was concerned I might order a part that would not solve the problem, but with the return policy I figured it was worth the shipping cost to try the repair myself.

After reading online I decided to attempt installing the control panel. For this particular model, I removed 4 screws at top inside (2 center are longer fyi). There is one more holding the panel in the center, but the front door panel needs to be removed. There are screws all along the inside. Remove those and slide the door panel up and out. 1. Turn off the electricity to the dishwasher
2. Unscrew all of the screws on the inside of the dishwasher door.
3. Take off the door and put it aside
4. Loosen the panel that contains the control board, control panel and the door lock mechanism
5. Using a screw driver, push in the small moveable tab in the center of the plastic clip that is holding the control board to the plastic panel.
6. Unhook the ribbon that is attached to the bad control board.
