Performed diagnostic tests. Had code for no heat. I performed a continuity check on the element and found it to be bad. I replaced the Heating Element per the video directions they provided on their website. I also replaced the Hi-Limit Thermostat since I was in that area already. This durable plastic coupler is subject to high heat and repetitive motion and can break or wear down over time. This could result in dishes not be cleaned properly. The unit may also be leaking or failing to drain. In the event that this happens, a replacement will be needed. This OEM coupler is manufactured to exact standards. It is sold as an individual unit and does not include any additional accessories or hardware. The spray arm will need to be accessed in order to complete this repair, which requires a nut driver and flathead screwdriver. Be sure to wear gloves and unplug the unit before performing any repairs. Remove the spray arm and the filter in order to access the coupler. In the How to fix it your self section of Questions and Answers, your answers for removing the Base Spray Arm is incorrect. It states "just stick a screw driver into the base spray arm from inside the tub and turn", that does not work. Their are 2 tabs that in gauge the base spray arm with the tub. A 4 prong round wrench is required to insert from the bottom into the pump connector and turn the nut that sits inside.
