High temperature thermostat went bad after running self clean function John V. • Longmont , CO • September 09, 2014
Did some Google searches and most comments concerning this issue on LG stoves indicated the high temperature thermostat malfunctions when using the self cleaning function. This malfunction causes complete loss of power for the entire stove and locks the oven door. Since I wasn't completely sure if it was the thermostat or where it was for that matter, I called a service tech to troubleshoot the stove. He was able to determine it was the thermostat and further tested his findings by...

Genuine Ge part

Part Number: WB27X10928
The Fuse is an OEM part for GE microwaves. It serves as a safety device designed to protect the microwave from excessive current that can cause overheating and potential fire hazards. When the current flowing through the microwave circuit exceeds a certain level, the fuse blows or breaks, cutting off the power to prevent damage or fire.
Common causes for a fuse to blow include power surges, faulty wiring within the appliance, or the use of microwave inappropriate containers that cause sparks. It is essential to address these issues not only to replace the fuse but also to correct the underlying problems to prevent future failures.
Symptoms of a bad fuse include:
- The microwave suddenly stops working.
- No signs of power or response even when the microwave door is closed and the start button is pressed.
This GE replacement part is also compatible with Hotpoint, RCA, and some Kenmore models.

The GE Advantium Oven completely shut down. No lights, no sign of life at all. Denny E. • Waynesboro , VA • March 14, 2014
I read on line about other such ovens doing the same thing mine was doing, absolutely nothing!
I even read stories of a major retailer telling customers to throw the microwave away. There's nothing you can do to fix it. After replacing a simple fuse that I ordered from you, the Advantium is as good as new. It took a grand total of 5 minutes to make the repair. The shipping cost more than the part, but it was all very worthwhile.

The frigidaire microwave would blow fuses on a regular basis Loren A. • Windsor , WI • November 28, 2020
After doing some research the problem appeared to be the door safety switches. I ordered 3 new ones to replace all the original ones. Some minor disassembly of the microwave front was required to reach the fuse and switches. To reach the switches the control panel wires needed to be unplugged and the panel removed. After doing that replacing the switches was pretty strait forward. As of this comment the microwave has worked for 5 days without blowing the fuse so far. This has probably fixed the...
