Ge profile advantium 120 clock display erratic Cathy W. • Harrisburg , AR • December 06, 2016
My Advantium worked fine except the clock and cooking instructions were dim and bounced in a circular pattern over the left side of the display. I tried unplugging it and once or twice that seemed to help. When I finally decided to take the control panel off I had a difficult time until I saw an old remark from a 2009 forum discussion from a guy that said there were about a dozen screws to remove to get to the control panel. That meant the entire cover had to come off! Wow! Glad I didn't break...

Display filckering on GE Monogram zsc1000kbb01 Chris O. • La Verne , CA • November 15, 2022
First I replaced the flickering digitron after reading elsewhere that it may be just a weak display. The new digit on was still flickering but a little differently. Our oven was still working with either display until suddenly it wasn't one morning. After finding AppliancePartsPros and reading that others had to go further by replacing the transformer and power boards, that's when I looked closer at those parts. There was some smoke evidence on the cover over the transformer and the back of...

Selector knob stopped functioning Jeffrey E. • Plymouth , MN • September 03, 2016
Replaced the "Encoder Board". My GE Advantium control panel came of fairly easily. There was 2 screws on top to remove a vent director giving access to a single screw that held the control panel in place. Once I removed that screw, I had to slide the control panel upwards by about 1/2" before it came off. At this point, I took several photographs of the wire connections to make sure I could reassemble them correctly... there were many! After unplugging the wire harnesses and connections, I...

The Relay Board is an OEM part for GE microwaves. It controls the passage of proper voltage levels for various microwave components during operation.
Installed internally, this board transmits power signals to run the magnetron, fan, and lighting systems as directed by the selected cooking settings. Precise switching of voltages is required for consistent and balanced microwave radiation.
Symptoms of a faulty relay board include:
- Intermittent or unpredictable power level adjustments
- Magnetron fails to turn on or fluctuates excessively
- Light not illuminating properly
- Fan speed irregularities
- Microwaves not properly heating foods
Causes can be damage from liquid intrusion, heavy usage over time stressing the relays, or component failures within the board itself.
Replacing with this genuine OEM GE part restores optimized power routing to maintain consistent microwave functions. Compatible models also include some Hotpoint, RCA, and select Kenmore products.

I contacted Appliance Parts Pros, and told them what the problem was and what it was doing.

This was a built in a cabinet unit and I required help removing it and reinstalling it.
The repair was relative easy once I had the parts and it took approximately four hours,.
It took longer getting to the defective parts than replacing them. ...

Last Saturday my microwave display stopped working. I pulled the unit out of the wall and tried to remove the display cover assembly but couldn't figure out how it was attached. I contacted AppliancePartsPros on their 24/7 live chat site and talked with Dustin, one of their customer support techs, about the possible remedies for my situation. He gave me the part number, and emailed me the PDF file of the tech pages necessary to remove the cover assembly. There were 7 screws (2 of them hidden)...
