I had a beeping problem with my washer whereby it kept on beeping when I turned it on. After researching the issue online I saw that the control panel was the issue so I ordered a new one and installed it and voila!!! Problem solved!! Got help from the internet to diagnose the problem. Seens that the neutral drain part of the transmission will not shift to spin unless there is a pause after draining. Thought the problem might be in the transmission but found the timer wasn;t allowing a pause after draining.therefore the machine would not spin. Replaced the timer and problem was solved. Removed control panel from the machine, unbolted control board, replaced with new one, changed connections from old to new and put back together. Read more

I replaced the timer, and the problem was solved. The only problem I had was the screw holes in the new timer would not accept the screws from the old timer, so I used self tapping screws. Otherwise, a straightforward fix and fairly easy to do. Read more

Normally I would do a better job of investigating my problem with what others have experienced and then proceed with the cheapest fix first. This time though I just knew it was the timer.
