Original Whirlpool light bulb, 40 watt.
Symptoms of needing to replace the light bulb include:
I have a Jennair jjw9630cas double wall oven, and after a few years I noticed that the light would not go out, first in the bottom oven, and then in the top oven. After doing some research I discovered this was not uncommon, and the fix usually involved replacing the hinges and/or the hinge receptacles. It didn't look like a difficult fix so I ordered four new hinges and four new receptacles, which arrived quickly. I found a video on YouTube that showed how to replace the hinges and it... Read more
Oven not heating or baking unevenly? A faulty bake element is usually the cause. This bottom heating element is a straightforward DIY fix in 10-15 minutes.
Watched AppliancePartsPros.com instruction video. Ordered new oven bake element, which arrived a couple days later. Removed old oven bake elelment. Installed new oven bake element. I am very appreciative of the instructional video. It's a very handy way for me to figure out if it's a do-it-yourself repair or not. In this case, another key thing it pointed out was the fact that the two wires that attach to the oven bake element have a tendency to slip back into the insulation behind the... Read more
Fix F2 error codes and inaccurate oven temperatures by replacing a faulty temperature sensor. Simple 15-minute DIY repair with basic tools.
My mother's GE range was not coming up to full heat (very far from it), and I was hearing a lot of relay-clicking coming from the control board. The heating elements seemed good. I suspected the control board was faulty, but there was a chance that it might be the (*much* less expensive) temperature sensor, so I ordered both from AppliancePartsPros.com (which got the parts to me very fast) so I could try the T-sensor first. After removing the doors and the back panel of the oven, and taking out... Read more
Specially formulated cleaner for ceramic glass and smooth cooktops. Removes cooked-on food, grease, and spills without scratching. Verify fit by model.
VERY simple fix- you do not even have to pull the range out.. I ordered a new cooktop from Appliance parts Pros. The customer sales rep Alphonso was great and walked me through the general process. I could find no explicit instructions for the repair but I muddled my way through. The fix is simple on Kitchenaid/Whirpool slide in ranges. 1. Open the oven door and remove the two phillips head screws directly below the control panel that hold the panel down.2. Lift the control panel upward and... Read more
Burner won't adjust temperature or stuck on high? This surface burner control switch restores heat control. Quick 10-minute fix with basic tools.
Stove is a GE Adora Model JBP63HH2bb. It took me forever to figure out how the burner was attached to the rails. My glass top was different than any instructions found on the internet for changing out a burner. The burners on this one are held to the bottom of the glass cook top by two rails that cross the bottom of the burner assemblies. In order to get too the burners you must remove 4 Phillips screws to lower the rails and burners from the cooktop. I suggest two people do this because... Read more

Fixes burner stuck on, no low heat, or burner not heating. Controls temperature levels on electric range surface burners. Moderate DIY repair.
Switches needed to be replaced. Make note of where each screw comes from. They were not all the same. To remove the front panel and get to the switches, you have to partially remove the cook top. Removed 5 screws from the back to release the cooktop. Slid the cooktop back far enough to expose screws holding on the front panel. Removed 4 screws from the top and 6-8 from the bottom (opened the oven door to get to the bottom screws). Removed screws from the front panel holding the switch in... Read more

Tested the power to the unit by turning on the cooktop portion and saw that I had power to all of the burners. Turned the selector knob to broil and saw that the top element would heat up. I then turned off the breaker to the unit. I then decided to take out the baking element to do a continuity test. When I touched it, a 1.5 inch section fell out. Since that concluded my continuity test, I assumed I needed a baking element. After receiving the parts the NEXT DAY (amazingly great service... Read more

The Rear Door Support is an OEM replacement part for GE ranges. Located at the base of the range, this bracket provides weight-bearing support for the lower oven drawer. It facilitates smooth extension and retraction of the drawer. Causes
So, in the process of a kitchen remodel my GC managed to lose *both* of the rear plastic supports for my GE stove! The drawer was totally unsupported without the brackets. I managed to find them on your site and see that they were a new and better design (rear mount with screw vs side mount and no firm mounting). The install was a snap and the brackets work excellent. I wish I knew that there was a new design years ago or I would have bought them much sooner! Thanks!! Read more
Burner won't shut off or stays on high? The infinite control switch regulates surface burner heat. Easy DIY repair, typically 10-15 minutes to replace.
Replaced the large burner control switches for the ones giving trouble. Since the other two switches had seen as much use as the faulty ones, replaced them too. After putting in new switches, found that one large burner had burned out so replaced it also. Range now cooks as good as new Read more
Convection mode not working or uneven baking? This convection heating element restores consistent heat distribution. Straightforward DIY fix.
I visited Appliance Pros website and indicated the problem we were having etc. Found the suspected part (heating element), went on YouTube and found out how to remove the part from the oven and test it with a multi-meter. Keep in mind I have never used a multi-meter before or made repairs to an oven before. However, I have used Appliance Pros before to fix a refrigerator problem just a month earlier and after watching their video it was a very easy repair. Anyway, I tested the old convection... Burner stays on high or won't turn off completely? This infinite control switch regulates surface burner heat. Simple 10-minute DIY fix with video guide.
I first checked a repair video and found the procedure was a 10 minute job. I then went to the website, put in my stove model number and searched for the switch. While I was looking I was offered a chat session with one of their experts. I am glad that I accepted. The switch I was looking at was not the right switch for the job. My expert verified my model number and the switch that need to be replaced. After a couple of minutes, she came back with the right part and placed the order for... Read more
