I noticed the floor around the dishwasher was starting to get wet and warp the wooden floor. The chopper had gotten out of line and had cut a pinhole into the sump housing and the dishwasher was leaking badly. It was quite easy to repair. Just unhook the drain hose and the wire connectors, twist off the turbidity sensor and waste motor, pull out the shims and the whole assemple comes up and out. Checked the grinder/pump well at the bottom of the dishwasher and fished out some aluminum foil, wire twist ties, broken plastic forks, etc. That was fun but it didn't solve the problem. Purchased new pump & motor assembly and installed it as per Youtube video. It requires pulling out the dishwasher, disconnecting electric, hotwater, and drain lines, and then removing a bunch of clips and connectors.
