Ice maker stopped making ice? This dual water inlet valve controls flow to both the ice maker and water dispenser. Common DIY fix for no ice production.
Ordered valves and new ice maker. Couple sites mentioned problem could be ice in the waterline and to make sure temps be set to 37 in frig and 0 in freezer. I had adjusted temps to these the day I ordered parts. Parts arrived a couple of days later so I opened up the ice maker and found the ice bin to be full! Guess the temp adjustment worked. Refrigerator not cooling properly? A worn fan gasket disrupts airflow and temperature control. This assembly seals the circulation fan compartment.
Not so easy! The fan is similar to a computer cooling fan but has a rounded housing that slips over a round condenser coil. It slides into a shoe bracket at the bottom. It should slide out towards the back of the refrig by approx 1/2 inch then pull up and out. But the fan shroud wraps around the condenser coil causing you not to be able to slide. You must first take a screw out that supports the condenser coil at the opposite end of the condenser "not easy to get to" then push the coil away... Read more
