Brad M Atwater , OH September 03, 2022 Freezer and refrigerator not cold. Replaced freezer evaporator fan. The AppliancePartsPros.com video. Very helpful. The fan located in the freezer compartment you must remove the bottom drawer front and the drawers. The fan is located at back wall of the freezer compartment. Be carful removing fan cover. I broke the tab on the bottom and had to glue it. From there I unplugged the fan and remove the fan from the tabs on the right side first then slide it out. Install the new fan in reverse. The fan at the bottom of the fridge was more challenging. Remove the cover at the bottom back of the fridge. Unplug the two connectors. On the right side of the round-shaped coils remove the sheet metal screw and unbolt the water valve bracket to loosen and move out of the way. Next at the right side of the col, there is a sheet metal support that holds the coil and is screwed to the bottom frame that needs removed to allow the coil to move. Find someone to help and have a person move the coil to the right to move the coil out of the fan, then another person slide fan out toward the back. Install a new fan in reverse. The Tech arrived opened the freezer and told us we needed a fan. He told us the part would be shipped to our home with an installation date of April 18th or later. Then we got another email that said the part was either on backorder or would be late arriving. So I went on your website and found three fans for our unit. Just to make sure I bought all three and had them shipped for next-day delivery. After watching your videos on the installation. We took this on and in a matter of about 30 to 45 mins. We changed two fans one in the fresh food section and one in the freezer section. The unit is now working properly and we did not have to wait until sometime in April or later. What a great site for DIY and with great prices for getting things the next day.
