Ordered oven door seal Part Number Y702338 (Whirlpool AP4291897) to replace the oven door seal on 30-year old Jenn-Air model S125 downdraft slide-in range. I called AppliancePartsPros and confirmed the part number, gathered my courage and asked my son-in-law to help. I replaced the downdraft fan and fan motor of my 25 year old JennAire C301 cooktop. The issue was getting the fan/motor assembly out in such a tight place. I had to first remove the fan cover, cut the wires, then the assembly came out. Putting back wasn't as tough although getting the cover back on (over the motor) was a bit of a strain. Wired it back, turned it on, and was thrilled. Now I'll replace the knobs and burners and we're back in business. Read more
This part is a grill element that is used on a cooktop. The element is responsible for supplying heat to the cooking area of the cooktop. If the element is not lighting up orange or red when it is turned on, it will need to be replaced. This part may need to be replaced over time due to normal wear and tear on the appliance. Some users may also notice that the element is not heating evenly or works intermittently. If this is the case, this is a genuine OEM replacement part that is made out of high-quality materials. Unplug the range from the electrical outlet and allow the cooktop ample time to cool down before trying to replace it. Wear work gloves for safety during this process. This part is compatible with cooktops that are manufactured by Jenn-Air and Maytag. It is sold individually and comes from the manufacturer.

I had to remove the oven door, which I learned is made to come off without tools. Then took out the bottom by removing two screws and lifting. Removed the screws attaching the igniter, pulled wires thru back until I could get the connector and disconnect. When the new igniter arrived, I had to change the connector. I cut the one off the old one, and spliced to the new one using solder and shrink tubing. Just reverse the procedure to install. I replaced the screws with new ones. Read more

I pulled out the old housing and unplugged the motor. It pretty much came out in pieces. Remove the plastic from the motor, then had to take a pair of vice grips to hold the spindle in place to remove the auger. Remove what was still attached to the old Housing. Cleaned everything up and put the whole unit back together. The motor looked like it was somewhat cooked but still worked, so I ordered a new motor and auger to replace it.
