I noticed the floor around the dishwasher was starting to get wet and warp the wooden floor. The chopper had gotten out of line and had cut a pinhole into the sump housing and the dishwasher was leaking badly. It was quite easy to repair. Checked the grinder/pump well at the bottom of the dishwasher and fished out some aluminum foil, wire twist ties, broken plastic forks, etc. That was fun but it didn't solve the problem. Purchased new pump & motor assembly and installed it as per Youtube video. It requires pulling out the dishwasher, disconnecting electric, hotwater, and drain lines, and then removing a bunch of clips and connectors. Replaced spray arms and tube. Found all had debris in them and prohibited water pressure from reaching items. After replacement everything comes out sparkling. Don't understand how the spray arms getting plugged. Almost like waste water is recycled. Purchased door springs from Appliance Parts pros.com, installed them and door on our Dishwasher was back to normal, Had to pull out dishwasher from under cupboard to get to springs, as they were on the sides of the dishwasher. Read more

Based on feedback found on the internet, I knew it was either the control panel or control board. Ordered both and it turns out I only needed to replace the control panel. Really easy fix. Turned off the power, unscrewed the top 6 screws to open up the control panel. Removed the cover and disconnected the ribbon cable. The video on AppliancePartsPro is not for the part I ordered. After searching a bit I learned that I needed a 3/16" hex driver to remove the two screws that hold the assembly to the washer. After that it was easy. Just remove the two screws, take off the old one and attach the new one. Easy. Read more

I was able to pull the entire basket/pump/motor assembly out from inside the tub I did not pull the DW out of the cabinet. I did not remove/disconnect the water line or even have to disconnect/cut power. I only removed the drain tube and drain pump. The rest came out from inside the tub. Much easier than I anticipated. There are some videos that demonstrate how to do this. I took my time and cleaned everything once I had it all out. Read more
