This screw is used to secure the handle end cap to the center of the door. The screw size measures 8-18 x 1/2 inches.
This was actually one of the easiest fixes I’ve done. All that was required was to remove 3 screws to remove the broken part. I used a pair of pliers to remove the moisture sensors from the broken part to the new one. Read more

The broken track and shelf stud were the most important part of the repair. I was astounded to find parts for a 20 year old fridge. I was concerned about how to remove the damaged stud.
