Removed the handle with two screws on the inside front and pulled out the custom wood panel. Pulled the compactor out from under cabinet. Tipped it over on back of unit, supporting it with a little foot stool. Replaced the ice maker. The kit came with everything I needed to replace the ice maker. Parts that did not come with the kit were re-used from the old one. My Whirlpool refrig/freezer is an older model so the wiring harness that came with the kit was different from my existing. This black plastic drip tray mounts beneath the water and ice dispenser on the front of the refrigerator door. It catches overflow water, ice chips, and drips to keep the floor clean. Replace it if the tray is cracked, warped, discolored, or no longer snaps securely into position.
