James B's advice is spot on. My older model has a different harness connector spacing than the electrical connector on the replacement motor, so I made a couple of short jumper cables. Took 10 - 15 minutes or so, including a bit of file work. Once that was done James B's protocol is, IMHO, perfect. It's a super easy fix, electrical mods excepted. It was easy to find the burnt up parts and I could see what caused the problem of jarring an indicator loose and it struck a side wall (ground) and shorted out and burned the switch and indicator out. I went onto this website and the schematics were blown up and easy to find on the drawing. Took a pic of all the wires connected to the switch prior to removing them and in 15 minutes it was fixed. New control board. Since oven would heat up, it was not the coil in the oven. Since the temperature rose from cold to setpoint, it was not the temperature probe. New control board corrected the issue for the most part. Setpoint remains displayed after reached, but now the coil cycles on and off to keep the over temperature in operating range.
