Fix a noisy or non-working convection fan in your range with this convection fan motor. DIYers report 30-minute installations for both upper and lower motors.
Replaced convection motor. Initially this looked like a 10 minute job including removing and replacing the back panel. However, the wiring connector was not in the right place. After studying and comparing the top motor, replacement motor, and the failed motor, plus chatting with a tech at Appliance Parts Pros (they're great), it became apparent that the motor on the replacement part had to be reversed in its housing. That was no big deal, but it took a while to figure out. The replacement... Read more

Signals active burners or heating elements on your electric range. Replace when dim, flickering, or burnt out for clear visibility and safety monitoring.
It was easy to find the burnt up parts and I could see what caused the problem of jarring an indicator loose and it struck a side wall (ground) and shorted out and burned the switch and indicator out. I went onto this website and the schematics were blown up and easy to find on the drawing. Took a pic of all the wires connected to the switch prior to removing them and in 15 minutes it was fixed. Truly thought that boards were burned up, facing an estimated $250 estimated repair or possibly a... Read more

Spacer that mounts around the convection fan in electric ranges and wall ovens. Replace if original is cracked, broken, or missing to maintain airflow.
James B's advice is spot on. My older model has a different harness connector spacing than the electrical connector on the replacement motor, so I made a couple of short jumper cables. Took 10 - 15 minutes or so, including a bit of file work. Once that was done James B's protocol is, IMHO, perfect. It's a super easy fix, electrical mods excepted. BTW, My appliance repair store quoted $322 for this fix. The parts from Appliance Parts Pros cost about $90 with shipping.... Thanks, Appliance... Read more

Oven temperature dropping or not holding setpoint? This range control board assembly regulates heating elements and maintains accurate temperature control.
New control board. Since oven would heat up, it was not the coil in the oven. Since the temperature rose from cold to setpoint, it was not the temperature probe. New control board corrected the issue for the most part. Setpoint remains displayed after reached, but now the coil cycles on and off to keep the over temperature in operating range. The drawings and part numbers on the website are awesome. Read more

Adjustable leveling legs that stabilize your range on uneven floors. Replace broken, worn, or missing legs to eliminate wobbling and ensure your range sits level.
The wiring harness with the 220v leads is quite large, so most of the time involved carefully removing it and documenting each connection to aid in installing the new one. The specific lead that failed must have had a lose connection, as the plastic coated socket on the end was completely gone, and about an inch of the wire leading to it was vaporized as well. I had to use fine grit sand paper to remove slag from the contact on the broiler element, and some household cleaner to remove the soot... Read more
