Keith W Taneytown , MD November 01, 2014 I had 2 electrical pops that burned out a switch and 2 indicators shorted out and tripped breaker It was easy to find the burnt up parts and I could see what caused the problem of jarring an indicator loose and it struck a side wall (ground) and shorted out and burned the switch and indicator out. I went onto this website and the schematics were blown up and easy to find on the drawing. Took a pic of all the wires connected to the switch prior to removing them and in 15 minutes it was fixed. Truly thought that boards were burned up, facing an estimated $250 estimated repair or possibly a new range. I fixed it myself for $50 and bought a couple extra indicator lights just in case and the parts were extremely reasonable. Anthony G Huntsville , AL December 08, 2015 Appliance: Samsung Electric Range FE710DRS/XAA-0001 Broken red light lens Disconnect power. Removed the rear upper panel (5 Phillips screws). Push broken lens from the rear removing broken lens from the indicator hole. Remove the broken rear of the lens from the light assembly. Push the new lens in the indicator hole from the front side of the stove. Front the rear, align the v-clip of the light assembly to the replaced lens and slide until the lens assembly is seated fully in the clip. Reattach rear upper panel with the 5 Phillips screws and tighten screws. Plug stove into outlet.
