Dishwasher leaking or not filling? The water inlet valve controls water flow into your unit. Common repair for leaks at the valve connection. 10-20 min DIY fix.
Replacing the inlet valve solved the problem. The old valve was somehow clogged with white sediment. I probably could have taken it off and cleaned it out if I'd known, but replacing the valve was much easier. Took about half an hour to repair. Video walk through was extremely helpful. This plastic cap covers the end of the dishwasher rack slide rail to protect the tub interior and ensure smooth rack movement. Replace if the rack is difficult to slide, makes scraping noises, or if the cap is missing or damaged.
