The dual inlet valve was the problem. The hardest part of the repair was moving the refrigerator so we could unplug it. The whole job took about 25 minutes and that includes the time we spent emptying and reorganizing the shelves. I love AppliancePartsPros.com. I first read some threads on the topic and figured out it was probably the ice maker. I found the part cheaper somewhere else but if it wasn't the problem I couldn't return it. I figured it was worth a little extra money to be able to return it if I was wrong and it was something else. I ordered the part watched the tutorial on YouTube , and replaced it. Removed front panel from refrigerator door and replaced the ice chute door seal and also replaced the seal inside the door that seals against the ice maker. Read more

Water dispenser came down to a trickle and made a lot of noise, I changed the filter but it didnt help and thus the water tank/head assembly needed to be replaced. Replacing the water Tank/head assembly was an easy task, the hardest part is removing the covers and taking care of not breaking the insulation of the water inlet hose. I simply pulled out the old gaskets starting in the corners and pressed in the new ones using my thumbs starting at the top and working down. Read more

I ordered the gasket with the model number off the frig. AppliancePartPros.com made it easy to find my part. There was also a "how to" video on the same page. I ordered the part and it got to OH the next day. Following the video guideline it took me 15 minutes to remove the door, strip out the old seal and put in the new one. I replaced the auger motor. You have to remove complete ice maker. Everything is just like help video to do except yoke dispenser. I watched video several times. Yoke will not just tap loose, after 30 minutes of tapping, I was using screwdriver to brace. I used a Dremel tool to cut part of shaft, came off easy then. After that, the repair went great. I have ice, I noticed motor I received was stronger. Parts came on time stated and worked great. I will order again on other repairs. Read more

Had to take the back cover off. It was very tight to remove the fan that sat in the drip pan but did get it off, was able to apply the same level of cursing and got the new pan installed, installing the drain tube was a breeze. Found the parts price very reasonable. Hoping the Whirlpool redesigned the pan so I won't have to do it ever again. I was surprised at how bad the quality of their original part was. I have a Whirlpool Side-by-side Model ED22PWXBW01. A year ago, the ice cubes started freezing together in the rear of the ice bin for no apparent reason.
