I replaced the Defrost Heater and the Fan Motor w/Harness (contains the thermoswitch for the Defrost Heater). I didn't know which part was defective, and I didn't want to tear apart the refrigerator twice (first finding the defective part and then replacing it). I had my grandson, as he is more agile, replace the Drip Pan. The only real issue was the removing and reinstalling the Fan module. Strongly suggest to view the provided Video a couple of time to save frustration. As not in video, you do not need to remove the water line as the whole back panel will just fold up and out of the way. A 1/4" nut driver is the only tool you need. I used the brand and model number of the fridge to look up the part number. This website had the part in stock and shipped it fast. The fix is easy to do. Getting the right part and finding one in stock is a little harder. Appliance Parts Pros has a web chat that was very helpful in making sure I got the right part. Evaporator fan was loud and eventually quit. This allowed the freezer temp to rise above 18 deg. which they activated the PF code. Replacing the evaporator fan motor fixed the problems. Read more
