The gasket on my freezer door was not holding the door closes. When the main door closed, the pressure which shifts to the freezer was popping the door open and it was not closing because the magnet had lost its' mojo. I watched the video for the replacement of the gasket on the freezer door and my experience was exactly the same. Took access panel off the back of the refrigerator with 1/4 inch nut driver and found that the compressor was not running properly (humming and hot but not compressing). The compressor cooling fan was working as well as the fan in the freezer compartment. I fixed the same problem with another refrigerator by replacing the relay and start capacitor on the compressor. Googled the symptoms and realized it was probably the Start Relay. To check, I unplugged the refrigerator, took off the back panel, and pulled the old start relay off. I shook it and it rattled, like something was broken inside. That was the sign that it did indeed need to be replaced. Looked up the part on www.appliancepartpros.com and found it.
