My refrigerator is 13 yrs old and began to build up frost in the ice cube shoot and the water tube began to freeze up over night. The flapper door was not closing completely. I simply removed the control panel by pulling up and out on the bottom edge, the edge is only about 1/8 inch thick, so don't reach in to far. After researching the problem on this site, I realized that the most likely cause was a bad bearing contained in the shaft & tube assembly. Essentially, the tub seal failed & allowed water to travel down the shaft & into the housing containing the bearing. The Hub Nut is an OEM part for GE washing machines. This component secures the inner tub to the drive mechanism, ensuring that it remains in place during the agitation and spinning cycles. This lock-down nut is reverse threaded, meaning that it is loosed by rotating it clockwise. For easier removal of the old nut, it is recommended to use the tub nut spanner wrench WX5X1325.

We replaced the main circuit board and the LED started to work and the condenser fan worked, but all we had were relay clicking sounds, but no cooling.
