I ordered a new lower wash rack retainer and installed it myself. Takes about 30 seconds to install. Very easy and no tools required. The part was ordered and arrived two days later from Appliance PartsPros. Very easy job to complete and saved a lot of money over the cost of having to call a repair man and pay a service charge.Just make o note of the position the old part is in and remove and insert the new part. DIY, changed motor and sump. Put a dab of valve lubricant on seal. Wet outer seal of sump to get it to seat in bottom of tub. Cleaned electrical connectors corroded by leak. Coated connectors with dielectric grease. Had to buy additional clamp. Two clamps came in the sump package but both fit the smaller hose only. Neither fit the large hose. I wish the correct clamps were included. Home improvement store clamp is a little too wide to fit between ridges in large hose. Read more

With the basket out of the dishwasher, the plastic parts basically snap on and off... popped the broken parts off and the new parts on. The 2 wheel and mount assemblies were a little more complicated. The video on the website advises to disconnect the supply line and drain line... I didn't have to do this.
