Freezer cold but fridge warm? Your evaporator fan motor circulates air between compartments. Most DIYers complete this repair in 1 hour with our video.
The fan has a very thin wire in it's coil, and when that wire breaks, you need a new fan. In a previous repair, i noticed that an ice build-up had dislodged the wiring on my fan and severed the coil winding. I was able to undo the winding a couple of turns and get it working again. But more recently, the fan stopped and there was no repairing it. So i ordered a new fan from AppliancePartsPros.com and it got here in very good time. The new fan was slightly different as the prongs seemed to be... Read more

Right side endcap that supports and secures the pantry door assembly in your refrigerator. Replace if cracked, broken, or tabs have snapped off.
I ordered this part and replaced it myself. The photo confirmed I had the correct part. I removed the crisper drawers and all (took 1 minute) and couldn't figure out how to remove this part. Some of the notes claimed there were screws holding it on but that is not correct. One of the large tabs on this part is what keeps this part in place. It's the large tab just slightly to the rear of center. Press it and lift up and the part comes right out. You have to remove the crisper slider from the... Read more

Ice maker not filling or water leaking inside your fridge? This water inlet valve controls flow to your ice maker and dispenser. Takes about 25 minutes.
The dual inlet valve was the problem. The hardest part of the repair was moving the refrigerator so we could unplug it. The whole job took about 25 minutes and that includes the time we spent emptying and reorganizing the shelves. I love AppliancePartsPros.com. We only used one screwdriver and that was only used to open the back panel of the refrigerator. Read more
