Fix a leaking water dispenser or no ice production with this dual inlet valve. Controls water flow to ice maker and dispenser. DIY-friendly repair.
We have a built-in KitchenAid KSSC42QKS02. Unlike the other Kitchenaid or Whirlpool refrigerators, our valve is located at the bottom and towards the front of the refrigerator. I actually preferred it to be located at the back like the others. It would've been easier to get to. We had to lower the fridge turning the screws(front of the lower panel), so it would sit on the rollers. Then we just simply roll the fridge out, turn off the supply valve, and install the newly bought valve inlet. It... Read more
Ice bin won't release or latch broke? This ice bin latch spring provides tension to secure the ice container properly. Easy 10-minute DIY fix.
Easy to remove the metal parts from the old bin. The only problem was that the screw that holds the adapter has red thread locker and screwdriver rounded off the head of the screw. Drilled the screw and heated the screw to loosen the thread locker and used an ease out to remove the screw. Read more

Fix hot refrigerator walls or a non-spinning condenser fan. This motor drives airflow across coils to remove heat. Easy DIY install in 1-2 hours.
I found several "threads" on my google search which indicated that it might be caused by a non-functional condenser fan. I removed the back bottom panel and voila, the fan was not spinning even though the compressor was running and felt very hot. If I spun the blades, the fan would run, but as soon as the compressor shut off, it would not start up again without my help. The replacement part was easy to find at AppliancePartsPros.com. I ordered it and had it within 48 hours. I didn't even need... Read more

The Screw is an OEM part for Whirlpool refrigerators. This screw plays a small but important structural role, securely fastening the refrigerator door hinges in place.

Symptoms of a bad hinge screw include:
This OEM Whirlpool part is also compatible with Maytag, KitchenAid, Jenn-Air, Amana, Magic Chef, Admiral, Norge, Roper and some Kenmore models.
If your refrigerator isn't staying at the right temperature or runs too warm, the thermistor may have failed. This sensor monitors compartment temps.
First I did the obvious: Changed the evaporator fan motor and condenser fan motor. Then I realized there was too little air flow from the freezer to the refrigerator, so I replaced the air baffle assembly. Now everything works again. This should have been a piece of cake, but in the 48" Kitchenaid side-by-side built-in, the baffle assembly is mounted on the side wall of the refrigerator rather than the back wall as the video showed. That means the hole for the rear of the two screws holding... Read more

Ordered new Evaporator part and Drier from Appliance Pros. The part arrived earlier than expected and was properly packaged. I had both parts installed by a professional as they required a level of expertise above my capabilities. Works perfectly. Read more
Replacement screw for securing panels, brackets, and internal components. Replaces missing, stripped, or damaged fasteners to restore proper fit.
Replaced door latch and switch. Parts are plastic so you must know what you are doing to avoid breaking new parts. Videos were hard to find for my model - eventually I found a video that addressed a different problem but required disassembly of a washer cabinet similar to mine. I removed the control panel using a putty knife and unplugged the wire to the latch switch. Then I remove 3 screws securing the washer's top panel to the back panel. Using a rubber mallet, I gently knocked the top panel... Read more
