This is a rubber gasket seal that fits between the outer tub halves or around the tub ring of a washing machine, creating a watertight seal to prevent leaks during the wash and spin cycles. It compresses between the tub components when they are clamped together. Replace this seal if you notice water leaking from around the outer tub, pooling under the washer, or if the seal appears cracked, hardened, or deformed.
This was some repair! My SG1000 stackable is over 30 years old and was purchased second hand. Found the wonderful parts diagrams you most generously share online and a couple of YouTube videos . I determined it should be repairable. In my cast the agitator shaft was frozen (rusted) in place. I was very fortunate to have been able to eventually remove it with the use of a lot of BP penetrating oil and heat. Purchased the triple burner and dual burner element. I added my model of stove and I was able to pull up diagrams of the stove parts. This injector seal fits the refrigerator's water injector. It restores a tight, watertight/airtight connection where the injector passes through the liner or mates to the fill tube, helping prevent leaks and frost around the opening.
1. Sleeve for input, Injector valve, nozzle and seal for input fixed this problem. Probably the main part that was the trouble was a deformed Injector Valve which is a rubber tube with an internal retention groove at the wide part that grips the Nozzle. The Sleeve and the Nozzle are hard plastic parts that basically looked fine, but I replaced them anyway while I was in there. An easy fix for the most part. I had no idea what I was doing, but glad I bought both upper and lower injectors. Not sure why these are separate parts? Cheap plastic. I did not get the hose clamp because I didn't think I would need it. You probably do, so go ahead and just order it or grab one if you have one laying around. Mine is hooked up without it for now which I'm sure I will regret later but I needed to get our washer running immediately due to a bed bug situation in our house. Read more

We watched the video before we purchased the parts for this project. We wanted to make sure exactly what parts we would need. Thanks for having this information available. We purchased the mounting stem repair kit,,tub bearing kit, 3 new bolt/washers that hold the outer tub in place and the spanner wrench. Cleaned everything... This lid bumper cushions the contact point between a washer lid and the top panel to reduce slamming noise and protect the finish. Replacing a worn or missing bumper restores smooth, quiet lid operation and helps prevent paint damage.
Removed lid sanded down all rust spots, taped over the printed instructions on the inside of the lid, washed with alcohol and spray painted with appliance white epoxy paint. Replaced the plastic hinge-balls and one of the lid support/bumper grommet. Small drive gear inside the washer transmission gearcase that meshes with mating gears. Replace when worn, stripped, or damaged to restore power transfer.
American appliances are very easy to fix in comparison to imported ones. Just open the washer and take de transmission cover out change the pinion inside removing a simple retainer. In the agitator there is a screw that you loosen it take it out, then de tub and take the shaft out and put a new seal and a new c clamp and reinstall everything back. Top-loading washers are very easy to fix in comparison to front-loading washers that are very difficult to fix. Read more
Replace this washer gasket seal to stop leaks between components. Worn gaskets cause water leakage and poor performance. Verify fit with your model.
