Replace your washer tub cover seal to stop leaks between the inner tub and outer tub cover. Install with groove facing up, maintaining proper clearance.
This was some repair! My SG1000 stackable is over 30 years old and was purchased second hand. Found the wonderful parts diagrams you most generously share online and a couple of YouTube videos . I determined it should be repairable. In my cast the agitator shaft was frozen (rusted) in place. I was very fortunate to have been able to eventually remove it with the use of a lot of BP penetrating oil and heat.
