Ordered new tube part AJR56656503 for Lg LFX25978ST/01 watched a lot of videos but none showed how to remove the door tube end from its connection so I just cut and spliced the new tube to the old under the cover for the door hinge area after feeding it from the back of frig to that area. Replaced defrost sensor in freezer compartment, if you are handy this is a do it yourself job. The cover in the freezer section just pops out not tools needed. First I replaced the filter thinking it was the problem, but that was not the case. Next was replace water supply valve at the back of the refrigerator. It was very easy. The only thing that was in question was how to get the refrigerator side line off of the existing valve.
