I ordered a replacement handle and screws. The process was very easy with the help of one of your "pros" who found all the parts needed and took my order. I didn't realize I was getting both a refrigerator door handle and a freezer door handle in one set, but now we have the freezer handle if we need it. Removing the old handle and installing the replacement was very easy. It looks great, in fact the replacement is metal, whereas the original was plastic, so it looks better than it ever did! I removed the fresh food ice maker found the drain tube for ice maker frozen. This was causing the back of the unit to rust out. This also caused the water to run down the back of the unit the into the duct work and into the freezer causing ice buildup. I then defrosted the freezer removed the rear duct work and the freezer drain pan cover. I found the freezer drain was not draining. Replaced evaporator heater and housing. Just make sure you also replace the thermostat. If not it is a little challenging to get the wires out of the old thermostat/ heater plug into the new plug. Also if you have the same problem be prepared to have a good heat gun to melt the ice buildup around the evaporator and drain hole. The ice build up was so bad that it destroyed the evaporator cover and was leaking into the refrigerator or should I say ice was forming below the evaporator cover... Read more

I wasn’t sure where I could get parts for the fridge, Google brought me here. Super easy to look up model #’s and locate parts by type/location with the appliance map. I needed to change the racks and the doorstop. The racks were super simple. Evaporater fan would not run. Unplug the fridge and plug it back in and the fan would run for a while. Installed the UI-KIT SXS and the problem was fixed. The kit saved $ over ordering each part separate. I didn't know which part was bad. Saved more than half the cost of Main Switch Board when ordering the kit. Fast shipping! Had a friend who is an appliance repair tech. Replace the evaporator, the heater coil, and the filter/drier. Parts were soldered together and the compressor was put under vacuum. Then, charged with 5 oz. of refrigerant. The freezer works great now! Read more
