Disassembled and confirmed the clutch was bad. Also noticed a slight leak from the transmission shaft seal. Ordered replacement clutch, seal and oil from appliancepartspros.com. Replaced clutch assembly, gearcase input shaft seal and motor coupler. When I disassembled the washer I realized the shaft seal on the top of the gearcase was leaking and not the input shaft seal. So had to order more parts before I could finish this job. Altogether I replaced agitator dogs, both seals on the gearcase, the clutch assembly and the motor coupler. We initially thought the issue was the gasket at the base of the tub, but that ended up being okay. We replaced it just in case. In order to even get the agitator off, we had to drill through the agitator bolt. The thing had completely rusted through. inside that basket drive rod we could see that the seals were in poor shape, and the liquid sprayed at the top of the shaft was getting through. Replace front legs and rear legs took about 30 minutes. Made sure rear legs had lithium grease applied ran a load of wash very little Vibration nothing compared to before legs were installed and balanced the machine with a level. Read more

Replaced transmission (that was the problem) and clutch (if you're going to tear it down put in a new clutch - they're cheap). APPRO's video was a big help. Everything went as they showed except transmission does not just slide out. You have to work it in and out several times. Once it breaks free it will slip out. This was my first transmission.
