We initially thought the issue was the gasket at the base of the tub, but that ended up being okay. We replaced it just in case. I was cleaning the supply hose filter screen constancely, I had no Idea there was filter screens in the pump intakes on the machine. once I found them and replaced them, I had plenty of water, so don't buy supply hoses with the screens in them until you check to see if your machine has them already.
