The Drain Hose is an OEM part for Whirlpool dishwashers. It serves as the connection that allows dirty water to exit the dishwasher tub and flow into the water drain system after each wash cycle. The hose transports wastewater from inside the dishwasher out through the standpipe. Causes of a bad drain hose can include mineral or food debris buildup blocking water flow within the hose, cracks or breaks in the plastic material from repeated bending, or a loose or damaged hose clamp connection. I first installed the inlet pump with no results. I then ordered a Control Switch and Float and Nut. This fixed the problem. Everything comes out so clean. I also replaced the filter which allowed me to clean debris around old filter. It is also easier to replace all these parts with the dishwasher pulled out and tilted on its side. I cleaned the cover and switched the wax motors to see if the clean rinse motor was good and ran a tested cycle. No improvement. I ordered a new rubber door seal for around door, new bottom door seal and spinner impeller and nut to hold on bottom arm as it looked weak. Everything worked great except bottom door seal which looks slightly different and would NOT stay on. I ended up putting back on the old one.
