This handle grip mounting is the replacement mounting piece that secures a refrigerator/freezer door handle to the door, restoring a solid, correctly aligned handle for normal opening and closing. What it does:
First of all, I should have taken it apart before I ordered parts. I thought all I needed was the handle and the door latch assembly. Ordered those parts and received them in 2 days. We scoured the web and there are few references to this so I want to add it in case it helps. Replacing hinges solved the popping opening issue. We could not solve our dishwasher door issue after a number of other tries: Latch, Catch, Ropes that attach to the springs that pull the door closed.
