Lower dishrack wheel assembly for dishwashers. Includes mounting bracket and wheels. Replace when wheels are broken, cracked, or rack won't roll smoothly.
I ordered 4 of this part from AppliancePartsPros.com and watched the repair video of the product. This was a simple repair that took 10 minutes to replace all 4 wheel units on the bottom rack. Product is exact match to the part I replaced. Read more
Replaces cracked, broken, or missing dishwasher rack stop clips. Secures upper or lower dishrack to track rail, preventing rack from sliding out too far.
My discharge would not empty after a wash cycle and I always had gross gray water left in the bottom approx 3" deep? After doing the obvious things of checking the simp for garbage, and checking that the discharge hose wasn't blocked, I removed my discharge pump ( not too hard to do) and tested. My pump which did run and turn the impeller. However, the pump evidently had weakened with time and weakened and could no longer pump the waste water up hill to the "T" connection under the sink. Prevents water leaks around your dishwasher door. Replace if you notice pooling water on the floor or visible cracks in the seal. Verify fit by model number.
I called to ask about the correct gasket for the door. As VERY helpful lady suggested that it was probably a split arm spray. She was absolutely correct. I have used you web site for parts in the past and will always make it my first stop when ordering appliance parts. Read more
Dishwasher lower door seal prevents water leaks at the door base. Replace if you notice dripping or moisture during wash cycles. Confirm fit with your model.
Thanks to Jason and his tech people at Appliance Parts Pro, I was able to remove and replace the seal and eliminate all leaks at the bottom of the door. I have a Kitchenaide (Whirlpool) dishwasher model KUDC10IXBL1. Here is how to replace the bottom door seal. 1) Shut off breaker to dishwasher on the electrical panel. 2) Open the dishwasher door completely, and while supporting the door, remove the hex head screws that hold the outside cover. 2) Close the door carefully and slip the outside... Door balance link kit for dishwashers. Connects door springs to control door movement. Replace if rope is frayed, broken, or plastic clips are cracked or worn.
I finally decided to repair my dishwasher because the door would free fall to the floor possibly breaking the hinges. Also the top shelf was rolling out on its own every time the door was opened. I first pulled the dishwasher out of the enclosure and found that the drain hose was directly under the pump area throwing the unit completely out of level. Also the inadequate plastic and rope counterbalance on the left side was completely broken where the rope was attached to the plastic piece to the... Read more
Dishwasher not draining or has standing water at end of cycle? This drain pump removes wastewater efficiently. Easy DIY repair, no tools needed.
I've opened sump housing to check for clogging but it was clean. When I removed check valve to inspect it I've found out that the round part of the valve was missing so I figured it might've blocked the water exit at drain hose or something like that. So I pulled the dishwasher out to get a full access to drain hose connector and the pump. Upon disconnecting the drain and checking its connector I indeed found the round piece totally blocking the hose and acting as a seal. I removed the piece... Read more

Dishwasher leaving film on dishes or making loud grinding noises? A worn food chopper assembly is often the culprit. DIY-friendly repair in under an hour.
Remove upper and lower baskets for access. Remove 4 Torx screws holding drain/filter assembly, accessing last screw by rotating the water duct clockwise. Be sure to first un-clip the water duct at top and rear of dishwasher so that it can be moved. (Take the opportunity to remove accumulated deposits behind the water duct). Remove the drain/filter assembly and then remove the single screw holding the food chopper housing. Then remove the chopper assembly which is likely to be in pieces if it... Read more
Dishwasher won't dry, overheats, or runs continuously? The high limit thermostat prevents overheating. DIY repair in 30 minutes with video guide.
My Whirlpool dishwasher (wdf520padm3) started leaving food on dishes and not drying dishes as well as it used to, even when I ran the 'high temp' and 'heavy' cleaning options. This started happening after about 3 years of operation. To try to diagnose the issue, I started the diagnostics cycle (see below for instructions on how to do this). However, the 'Clean' LED is also not working on my dishwasher, so I was unable to read the error code after the service cycle finished. I decided to... Read more
Dishes not drying or water not heating? This dishwasher heating element restores drying and cleaning performance. DIY-friendly repair, about 1 hour.
Followed the Appliance Parts Pros video and it took me about an hour from start to finish. I felt like the job was easy to accomplish. Read more
Dishwasher won't start or has no power? The thermal fuse cuts power when overheating occurs. Test for continuity with a multimeter. Easy 10-minute fix.
Ordered a new thermal fuse from your website last week and installed it three days ago. This is the second fuse in one year that needed to be replaced. The dishwasher was purchased new in 2012. Relatively easy to replace. Your website had a you tube video that showed how to replace it. Power came back on the control panel, but the start button (not a button, but a touch screen) would not work. This is the second time in two years that the control panel had to be replaced because the start... Read more
Upper dishrack track for dishwashers. Guides the top rack for smooth sliding. Replace if cracked, warped, or causing rack to fall when pulled out.
Replaced wheel assembly because prongs were broken and replaced track because wheel assemblies were rolling out from the track when extended. Read more
Carries wastewater from your dishwasher to the household drain. Replace if cracked, punctured, or leaking. Installs at pump outlet and drain connection.
Dishwasher washer would not drain after hearing glass-like particles during the drain cycle despite trying to clean the cylinder filter. Originally suspected the drain motor was damaged. After watching a video on how to replace the drain pump, I carefully energized the dishwasher (from water and electricity) then removed the dishwasher to take a look. After removal of drain hose from the pump, discovered that drain hose was connected to water inlet assembly which also needed removal to... Read more
Seals the dishwasher tub to the cabinet opening, reducing noise and preventing gaps. Replace if worn, damaged, or missing for proper fit and sound control.
I determined that the gasket was pinched, leaking at corner. Ordered new gasket from this site (easy find with part diagram). Removed old gasket, replaced with new. Read more
Fix dishwasher leaks around the heating element with this rubber washer. Creates a watertight seal where the element enters the tub. Easy 15-minute repair.
Replaced heater element: Once I had the dishwasher out of the cabinet with supply hose, drain hose and electric disconnected, removing the heater element was fast and easy. However, it was confusing that the new heater element had rubber washers on it already, something not mentioned in the product listing, although kinda visible in the photo. I ordered the separate rubber washer parts recommended by Appliance Parts Pros together with the heater element. The separate rubber washers were the... Read more
Fix a dishwasher that won't start or beeps repeatedly with this door latch assembly. Solves doors that won't stay closed or cycles that won't stop.
I found the door switch was not making contact when the door closed. I adjusted it, but then it would not open so the dishwasher would run when the door wasn't closed. The contacts were too long in the switch so they would bend and stay together when the door opened. The original switch was very poorly made for a very expensive Maytag dishwasher. The new switch you supplied was much better quality and easily replaced the one that was installed at the factory. I was a little baffled at the... Read more
