This is a felt seal strip that attaches to the front bulkhead panel of the dryer where the drum meets the front of the cabinet. It creates a soft barrier that prevents heated air from escaping and keeps clothing from getting caught between the drum and the panel. The washer is an OEM replacement part for Whirlpool clothes dryers. This part is located on the drum roller support shaft in your dryer.
