The 2 sensors that sit on top of the flame tube work together. The Thrmst F should check closed, as should the Cutoff-TML, in order for power to flow to the ignitor. If the Cutoff is open, it is usually because the Thrmst-F did not open soon enough. The Thermst-F will cycle, closed to open, and repeat, however the Cutoff-HTML is a one time switch. Removed LP Orifice and LP Gas limiter. Orifice was easy, however the gas limiter was the tricky one because I had no instructions to what went where. I could not find anything online as to how to convert from LP to Natural Gas, but you could find several things as to how to convert from Natural to LP. I looked inside and saw the teeth were worn off the "dogs" so I purchased the Cam Agitator repair kit and a new bolt. Getting the old bolt out was the hardest part since it was worn and rusted. I ended up having to buy a set of socket extensions and a set of stripped bolt sockets so $45 in tools and it took me an hour to get the old bolt out but putting everything back together was a breeze. Dryer not drying or making loud noise? A loose or damaged blower pulley stops airflow. Use thread locker during install. 45-minute DIY repair.
Replaced the blower pulley. When the pulley spins off the blower shaft, it will damage the threads so it is important to replace the pulley and I would recommend using Loctite thread locker to keep the new pulley from spinning off. The threads on the blower shaft will most likely get damaged as well and I would recommend replacing the blower shaft. I did not order the blower shaft because it does not show up on a diagram and I had to go purchase a die to chase the threads before the new pulley... Read more
