Obtained the replacement motor and tray coupler from Appliance Parts Pro. Video of the typical replacement was very helpful to show what to expect and how to replace the motor and coupler. The removal of the bottom plate was held in place by several phillips screws. The motor was attached with two torx screws. I have a multimeter so I was able to check the fuse per website recommendations and it was blown. However, the capacitor on the microwave was also original so I elected to replace the capacitor, fuse, and the ground protect diode. The repair was very simple (making sure the capacitor was discharged before replacing) and the microwave is now up and running again. When the new bulb didn't want to go in, I felt around and realized the base of the old bulb was still in there. With some effort I got it out and new bulb in, Light cover fit fine, but did not come with a screw to hold it in. That would have been helpful. Read more
