This water inlet valve controls the flow of hot and cold water into the washing machine tub during fill cycles. It contains solenoid-operated ports that open and close in response to signals from the control board. Two 5-foot nylon braided hoses connect household water supply to washer inlet valves. Replace cracked, leaking, or aging hoses to prevent water damage.
