Do-It-Yourself Stories from Customers like You Front load washer leaking from door   Robert S. • Agoura , CA • December 30, 2014

Followed your video instructions. It was invaluable. The toughest part was getting the seal on the back of the drum. Your technician made it look very easy. Once that was on, the rest was pretty easy. The control panel on my Whirlpool Duet washer had a holding screw at the bottom center of it. It wasn't shown in the video, but it was easy to figure out. If you are changing the boot, change the clamp as well. Read more

First off I have to say that Appliance Parts Pro's saved me from hiring a repair person, and quite possibly just getting rid of my washing machine. Their video's helped out SOOOOOOOO much and the advice one of their agents gave me over their online chat helped me trouble shoot something when I got stuck. On top of this they shipped my parts fast enough that less than 12 hrs later they arrived, which allowed me to get my machine up and running way faster than the other options I had available.... Do-It-Yourself Stories from Customers like You F02 fail to drain repeated suds warnings   John C. • Eagle River , AK • February 18, 2019

Prior to ordering parts I had pulled the pump strainer basket and cleaned it out. There was both soft and hard scale build up. The tub-to-pump hose was also pretty crusty/slimey. Still got warnings for SUDS and repeated F02 errors. Ordered parts and replaced the pump, tub-to-pump hose, interior drain hose and exterior drain hose (both hoses has some slime build up). The water standing in the tub when I emptied it the first time had very little suds but we kept getting the SUDS warning. ... Read more

Do-It-Yourself Stories from Customers like You F2 e3 error code on front load duet washer   Mark M. • Saratoga Springs , NY • September 16, 2016

Replace the water temperature sensor and still had the error code. While I had the back of the machine open I ran the washer. I traced the black wires from the temperature sensor and wiggled them as the washer was running. At one zip tie every time i moved the wires the washer would stop running and the error code would flash. Sure enough, like many others posted, the vibration from the machine had split the wire. I spiced the wire back together and have not had a problem since. Read more

Do-It-Yourself Stories from Customers like You Whirlpool duet washer was stopping mid cycle with a F20 error code; owner's manual says it could be a water supply issue   Ronnie H. • Cedar Park , TX • December 22, 2018

Several months back, I checked the supply hoses and replaced the hot water hose because of corrosion. The cold water hose was fine. I replaced the water inlet valve and that seemed to fix the problem, but after about a week, the problem resurfaced. After searching various internet resources, I though the pressure switch which detects the water level could be bad. I order both the pressure switch and the hose that connects it to the air chamber. Do-It-Yourself Stories from Customers like You Machine would not power up (panel would no light up) i did have some error codes displayed before that f 70 was one code   Steven P. • West Roxbury , MA • August 19, 2014

After much reading on line regarding my problem. I decided to do any test that I could to try to diagnose and fix this myself if I could. This took a lot of time and patience to get the answers on how to go about this from "experts" as some of the info was contradictory.
