Do-It-Yourself Stories from Customers like You Spin cycle stopped working   Barry F. • Highlands Ranch , CO • October 04, 2015

After much internet research (primary YouTube) as to why my Maytag Neptune washing machine's spin cycle stopped working, I ordered the parts I needed to fix it. Sure enough, it was a failed wax motor and a blown control board at fault. After replacing both parts, we have a functioning washing machine again. While I was at it, I replaced the soap dispenser's bezel and lid since they were deteriorating and now we have a "new" washer! I also replaces the thermostat in the matching dryer and we... Genuine Whirlpool part

Part Number: W10176519

Adjustable leveling feet that restore stability and balance to your appliance by letting you fine-tune height at each corner for a flat, wobble-free install—helps reduce vibration and improve door fit and operation. What it does:

  • After adjusting, check stability and run a short cycle to ensure vibration and alignment are resolved.

Do-It-Yourself Stories from Customers like You The siphon break got broken during our move   Barb H. • Castle Rock , CO • April 15, 2017

I have a Maytag washer that is over 30 years old and still runs like a top. When the siphon break got destroyed in our move, I was able to find a replacement kit that fixed our problem. I found a video on UTube that showed us just what to do. I'm delighted I didn't have to buy a new washer since the quality of new ones doesn't hold a candle to the quality of my Maytag. Read more

Do-It-Yourself Stories from Customers like You Nd error code   Ed V. • Ripon , CA • February 09, 2015

I verified that there were no drain line obstructions. Checked the ohms across the pump motor. Ran the washer through the diagnostics test. Determined that the main control board must be the problem. Washer would run until the spin cycle. It would pump down and continue pumping even though there was no water. Would not advance to spin. It would time out and flash the nd code. I was able to get it to run by shutting it off, turning back on and selecting the spin only button. Thought I would try... Read more

Do-It-Yourself Stories from Customers like You ND error code on NFW7200TW Amana front loader   Perry T. • Plainwell , MI • January 03, 2019

Ultimately, I blew through the hose that attaches to the pressure switch. There was initially significant back pressure and then it blew free. Prior to this, I replaced the pressure switch, the main control board, and the pump. All of those were likely unneeded, but unfortunately no web links indicated this particular fix and Amana support was no help. I was very satisfied with the cost of parts on this site and the instructional video links. Just wish I had know to check for clog in the... Read more

Do-It-Yourself Stories from Customers like You Noisy bearings in a maytag neptune model mah7500awwi used the instructions   Norman O. • Dayton , OH • November 04, 2016

I used the instructions from some of your previous customers. When I was ready to pull the inner tub from the outer tub, it pulled very hard. The front bearing had been HOT and really marked the shaft. The SEAL appeared to be almost plastic, not much left. I removed the seal from the Front bearing. This model had the original type seal with the plastic spacer behind the seal and in front of the front bearing.. BE SURE TO NOTE HOW THE PLASTIC SPACER CAME OUT--feet on spacer toward the...
