Replacement rail assembly for refrigerator vegetable drawers. Installs on the side wall to support drawer gliding. Needed when original is cracked or broken.
Removed the bottom shelf by releasing the 2 clips near the water filter, then lifted the front of the shelf and slid it out. Removed 2 screws from the broken Vegetable Rail and replaced it with the new one. Slid the shelf back into place and locked it down into the clips. Done. Took longer to remove everything from the shelf than it did to fix it. Less than 5 minute repair. Read more

I removed the broken rail saving the 2 Phillips head screws for installation of new drawer rail. Removal of the shelf above the drawers was required and was accomplished by pushing a button on the front of the shelf support. The start button had been tricky to use. You had to push it in just a certain way to get the dryer to start. Eventually it was non-responsive. I replaced the temperature sensor, the thermo fuse, and the heating element that thaws the evaporator on a cycle to keep the evaporator from freezing up. The most time consuming part of the repair was waiting for the fridge to thaw out so that I could remove the cover.
