The Fresh Food Door Closure Cam is an OEM replacement part for GE refrigerators. It is a component located inside the fresh food door that works together with the door latch mechanism. The door closure cam has a pivoting arm that engages the latch to securely fasten the door shut when closed. For the same part in white, purchase WR02X10637.
Causes of failure include wear and tear over time from repeated usage, damage due to accidental mishandling of the door, or an impact that causes misalignment of the cam.

Replaced upper and lower thimble's, lever arm, cam closure. Door stop was not the problem, but ordered it and replaced it too. The door of course has to come off, remove the top hinge, and lift it away. Lubricated moving parts with silicone spray.
