Behind the defrost heater is a metal plate as well as one on the back of the front interior cover. Both were corroded and in need of replacement. In order it SHOULD be done: Pried off two white caps covering the screws that attach the flap to the left door, then removed screws. Lifted flap up to remove from door and disconnected cable.
