Replacement axle pin for refrigerator front caster wheels. Installs through wheel assembly to secure rolling casters. Needed when bent, broken, or worn.
Samsung does not make it easy to replace the casters. The shafts holding the casters are crimped at the ends and had to be cut off with little room for any tools. I had to jack up the fridge and I used a hacksaw blade with a handle to cut through the wheel shafts. I didn't want to use a reciprocating saw. I couldn't find a way to crimp the new shafts so I drilled small holes at the ends and used cotter pins to retain the shafts in place.The rear caster had no room to slide the new one in... Read more

Removed the bottom shelf by releasing the 2 clips near the water filter, then lifted the front of the shelf and slid it out. Removed 2 screws from the broken Vegetable Rail and replaced it with the new one. Slid the shelf back into place and locked it down into the clips. Done. I removed the broken rail saving the 2 Phillips head screws for installation of new drawer rail. Removal of the shelf above the drawers was required and was accomplished by pushing a button on the front of the shelf support.
