It finally gave E15 code, then after drying out the E15 code came back within 5 minutes of running. I dried out the base then I ran the dishwasher and observed water coming down the overflow chute after running only 5 minutes. There is a water inlet (clear water chamber on the side of the machine). It had some gunk inside that was stopping a black float shut-off from moving. I replaced the water inlet chamber. I also suspected the non return valve (also called a check valve). From the parts... Leak was slow but becoming gradually worse. Pulled dishwasher out from under counter then visually inspected sump while it ran. As soon as the water got very hot, I could see the sump leaking where it meets the stainless pan. Searched for the correct sump gasket without success. Turns out that the gasket is built into the sump for this model. The built-in gasket is very narrow (under-engineered IMHO which is probably why it developed a leak). Thanks to Simon's excellent videos at... Read more

Checked out the AppliancePartsPros.com online parts/assembly diagrams for our Bosch dishwasher model and ordered the two sided set of new springs + connector ropes + connector-to-door ... plus a couple of other relatively inexpensive adjoining parts that might have become worn over time, just in case they were needed. The extra parts arrived in two days with standard shipping. Called about the "back ordered" primary set of parts (which had been listed as being "in stock" when I placed the... Read more

Symptoms of a bad pump to heater hose clamp include:
On my Bosch she55m15uc/64, the cycle would take 3-4 hours, with the machine stuck on "1 minute" for a long time. The interior was getting moldy and smelly, and the dishes had a white film. At first, I thought it was the heater relay on the control board, but I pulled that relay and it seemed to be working. I could get an ohmmeter on the heater element without taking the bottom off the dishwasher, and the resistance was infinite. Replacing the heater did the trick. On my unit there was a... Read more

This OEM Bosch part is also compatible with Thermador, Gaggenau, and some Kenmore dishwashers.
Dishwasher made a humming sound but no water was circulating around. Searching around, I decided that it was either the inlet valve or the pump/impeller. I started with the inlet valve since it’s an easier repair. It didn’t work, no problem, now I have a spare. I then changed the pump and motor assembly. When I got the old one out, the impeller was broken along with a crack in the plastic housing. The repair took about 3 hours following along with the video. The dishwasher now works like... Read more

Causes of failure could be normal wear and tear over time, mineral buildup affecting the sensor's ability to read water quality accurately, or damage from electrical faults. Symptoms of a bad turbidity sensor include:
Ordered and replaced sump pump, backflow preventer valve and turbidity sensor on Bosch dishwasher. The latter two parts were recommended when ordering the sump pump and did need replacing. The videos showing how to remove and replace each part are great. The project went well and the dishwasher is fixed for less than 1/4 of what it would cost to get a repairman out here. In all fairness we do live in a remote location and do not have any local appliance repairmen. This is the third project I... Read more
