Jennair jjw9630cas double oven doors did not close all the way and the light would not go out Wayne W. • East Longmeadow , MA • February 13, 2016
I have a Jennair jjw9630cas double wall oven, and after a few years I noticed that the light would not go out, first in the bottom oven, and then in the top oven. After doing some research I discovered this was not uncommon, and the fix usually involved replacing the hinges and/or the hinge receptacles. It didn't look like a difficult fix so I ordered four new hinges and four new receptacles, which arrived quickly. I found a video on YouTube that showed how to replace the hinges and it...

The Oven Insulation is an OEM replacement part for Whirlpool ranges. Properly insulated walls are necessary to prevent heat loss through the oven exterior, ensuring consistent and even cooking from the inside out.
Causes of bad insulation include the breakdown of insulating materials over time due to repeated high heat exposure during cooking. Crumbling, compressed, or discolored insulation has lost its ability to hold in heat.
Symptoms of needing new insulation include:
- Inefficient and uneven cooking/baking performance
- Interiors not reaching/maintaining set temperatures
- Overheating or longer than normal cook times
- Hot or warm oven exteriors that were previously cool to the touch
This genuine Whirlpool OEM replacement part is also compatible with Maytag, KitchenAid, Jenn-Air, Amana, Magic Chef, Admiral, Norge, Roper, and Kenmore models.

It seems that oven insulation is a popular vacation spot for mice who want to get away from it all Paul J. • Washington , TX • May 10, 2014
Took the stove apart*, saw where the mouse had made a nest. It was kind of like a hotel room after a rock star had used it. It was nasty, is what I'm saying. I removed the insulation, which immediately went into a garbage bag and was placed outside, whereupon I took off and nuked the site from orbit. It was the only way to be sure (actually it was disposed of in the proper manner, no nukes were detonated in the course of this repair). Anyway, I ordered the insulation from this site, which was...

Oven did not keep correct or consistently correct temperature Keith J. • Antioch , IL • September 06, 2014
Online videos made this seem an easy fix. I unplugged the oven and removed the rear panel, then found where the temp sensor entered the oven. I unplugged the sensor's electric connector. Unlike the videos, this sensor screwed in from the inside of the oven, so I had to remove the 2 screws inside the oven which hold the sensor in place. Then I pulled the sensor out, careful not to tear the insulation with the wires and connector. Then I just pushed the new connector through the same hole and...

Jenn Air stove JDS9860CDB00 error code 1d11 oven not shutting off. Joe D. • New Berlin , WI • March 20, 2019
First of all Appliance Parts Pros is the best!! I would not have had the confidence to make this repair myself without their outstanding videos and Q&A sections on their website. And their prices for parts are very competitive. Like many stories on the website, my oven would heat up beyond the temperature set point. When it reached the target temperature, the lower heating element (I think this is the “bake” element) would shutoff, but the top element (“broil” element I believe) would remain on...

DIY. The delivery to Milwaukee took two days. The project was very easy and took about 1hr. The only tools required were a screw driver (electric) and a pliers. Just make sure your irganized with the screws so you don't lose any or mix up which ones go back in which holes. There's about 20 total screws. This $50 part saved me from having to buy my wife a $1000+ oven.

Part Number: WP8273062
This range screw is an OEM replacement part sourced directly from the manufacturer for gas stove burners. These screws attach the ignitor to the burner. Screws may corrode and rust during everyday use. Spills and accidents on the range top may leak down to the screws and cause them to become worn. Screws are not considered part of the ignitor kit or burner kit and will need to be purchased separately. If the screws appear rusty or corroded while replacing the ignitor, it is beneficial to replace them. It is a good idea to purchase the screws at the same time as the parts are purchased so that they are available when needed. A Phillips head screwdriver is necessary to remove and replace the old screws. Make sure the power and gas are disconnected before installing the new screws. This screw is made of silver metal and is a Phillips head screw that is sold individually. Verify the number of screws needed before ordering. This screw is designed for use in gas ranges manufactured by Whirlpool, KitchenAid, Roper, Estate, Inglis, Maytag, Amana, Jenn-Air, and Crosley.

Worn top burner igniter John D. • Huntington Beach , CA • January 01, 2018
Replaced old igniter. also purchased new screws for burner and igniter assembly since old screws were corroded from spilled food/fluids etc over the years. made the installation much easier. If you need to replace a worn igniter, do yourself a favor and go to hardware store and get matching replacement screws or buy new with igniter. Now my front right burner lights every time with just a click or two. Very pleased.

Called an appliance guy, who said the control panel needed to be changed and quoted me $600. Luckily I Googled the model number and found this website. After seeing that several other people had had the same problem and that the membrane was recommended (not the control panel), I took a chance and ordered the part. Broken spring on oven door Phil H. • Kirkland , WA • February 07, 2016
The replacement hinge unit arrived in just two days. The JennAire (Maytag) oven door is fairly typical in that it easily lifts off of the hinge bars. Once the door is off then removing two screws is all that's required to remove the hinge unit from the oven. The new hinge slides up into place and while you hold it up inside of its location putting the old screws back in is very easy. After sliding the door back down onto the hinge bars the oven is as good as new
