Replace the ball sensor. Also known as the out of balance sensor . Another confirmatory clue was when I ran the QC diagnostics . The moment I ran the first diagnostic test, the spin test, I got a bE (ball sensor) error code in the display and the drum would rotate slowly. Stepwise disassembly, taking photos along the way. 7-8 screws to remove old top. Had to uplug all motherboard plugs to get wire harness through the top peice. Took care to number the 10 wire harness plugs in the motherboard to aid in replacement Part was OEM. Fit perfectly. Probably saved $200. Read more

Replaced the seal. Washer didn’t have a drain hole and this seal is no longer available. So I ordered the seal with a drain hole. The seal fits perfectly but I had to make a plug and use silicone to plug the drain hole. Read more

I found other posts on AppliancePartsPros.com to be helpful. Most people and pros indicated that it was the Cold Water intake valve which has 4 solenoids on it. I watched the video to replace the Hot Water valve which is right next to it. My washer opened differently than the one in the video but it was not hard to figure out.
