I figured after 10.5 years that it might be time to replace the dispenser hoses because I was noticing black stuff in the dispenser trays. After watching the video carefully and taking notes for step-by-step dismantling of the LG washer, I took it apart methodically placing each item on a table in the order removed. I originally thought the washer had a bad bearing, but once I got it disassembled it the spider arms were broken. This required the replacement of the tub assembly. While replacing the tub I replaced all of the water bellows. The parts came quickly, the live chat and videos were very helpful. This washer has to be completely disassembled to replace the drum, so mark all the screw locations, tag and bag everything and take lots of pics. Removed back cover removed stator and checked bearings. bearings were good.removed top control paneland front.then removed tub .seperated tub removed drum.the spyder was coroded into replaced spyder bearings and seal. reassembled washer.works like a champion. Read more

The upper counter-balance weight mount design is a poor design to begin with. It started to rattle loose approximately 5yrs into the 8yrs that we've owned it. I started by watching the video and it was very helpful. I would make one suggestion. On our model the weights on the tub sit very close to the front gasket. It is much easier to put the gasket on the tub before you put the weights on. Also, since the washer was tore apart, I replaced the hoses and seals and shocks since the machine is about 8 years old. After I checked the hose connections and determined that they were not the problem, I removed the top of the washer and saw water dripping from the cold-water intake valve. Before I called a service repairman, I checked You Tube for instructions on how to replace it. The instructions were precise and easy to follow. I easily remove the wires and hoses, then removed the part by removing 2 screws. I attached the replacement part, reattached the wires and hoses and was done, Leak fixed! Read more

I went to your web site found the part using the model number of the washer machine. Also with the part picture, there was a video showing step by step instructions. They were very clear and was breeze replacing the hose.Doing this myself saved at least probably $150-200. Appliance repair shops quoted me around $80.00 just to come out.
