Decorative adhesive faceplate for oven control panels. Replace if cracked, peeling, or damaged. Peel-and-stick installation covers button board.
I ordered the three parts listed and now my oven is beautiful, functional and like new again. I first had to figure out that the original parts are no longer available and had to perform an oven upgrade. Obviously the original design was flawed and the new design works perfectly and looks great! The whole repair cost was about $328 with shipping included. The parts were here in just a few days, about 2 to 4 days (some in two days, one in 4 days). Much cheaper and easier than replacing the... Read more

Thin keypad membrane behind your range control console. Replace when buttons stop responding, register intermittently, or the pad is cracked or worn.
Replacing the switch membrane restored full function. Relatively easy. Had to pull stove out just a few inches to provide access to two side screws holding control enclosure. Then four screws on bottom edge just above oven door. Then a screw above each burner control. And one screw on the top edge at each corner (right screw additionally holding a ground wire). That allowed the structure to come out. Helper required to hold structure while I worked to unplug the old switch-membrane from... Read more
Mounts behind the control panel to support and align your range touchpad. Replace if cracked, broken, or causing buttons to misalign for a solid fit.
A very common problem with the GE oven is the dreaded F7 error code. I purchased the control board as well as the keypad and replaced both. The error code could have been either part but since I saw a lot of grease, I chose to change out both even though I isolated the problem to the keypad only. By resetting the error first by hitting the clock button on the keypad, turning off the power, disconnecting the keypad, then turning back on the power if the code doesn't come back it's the keypad. ... Replaces your range's control panel assembly with touchpad buttons and display window. Needed when buttons are unresponsive, cracked, or worn from use.
Originally, I was told by Appliance Parts technician that the control board needed replacing. I ordered a new board and replaced it. No change. Called another AP technician and he said it is the panel control board which is the keypad that needed replacing and promptly provided me a return authorization number to return the control board. I replaced the panel control board (key pad) and all is working once again. I probably saved $600 by doing it myself. Read more
Control panel assembly for your range. Houses display, touch pad buttons, and knob openings. Replace if buttons are worn, unresponsive, or panel is cracked.
My 15 year old son and I examined the new parts and made a plan for how we were going to take the front off of the oven. Turns out it was fairly simple. We removed the knobs, the knob shrouds, two philip screws on the side of the head and about 6, 6mm hex sheet screws. Voila! It came apart. We carefully looked at how the old parts were assembled and simply reversed the assembly with the new parts. Since one of our parts was the entire front head, it went together quickly and it was a perfect... Read more

To replace the stove touch control panel was easy. From the rear of the stove, remove the cover for the heating element / lock actuator (left side, 2 screws), remove the upper panel (8 perimeter screws & 4 centerline screws). From the control panel, remove the 14 connectors. To remove the ribbon cable pull connector retainer (about 1/8"), pull ribbon cable out of retainer. On the front of the stove, bottom of the face, remove the two screws that retain the control panel (outer most screw on... Read more
Stainless steel touch pad control panel for your range. Replace when the original panel is cracked, dented, buttons are unresponsive, or keys stop working.
After doing some research online, I saw that to have an appliance repair person come out to fix the touchpad, would cost us well over $500. Some people said they would charge $500 for the part alone. I did a search for the part using our model number and read the reviews on this site and thought we'd give it a try. It was a very easy repair--anyone could do it. You basically remove four side screws and then the screws behind the knobs. Once you pull the front away, there are 4 screws holding... Read more
This is a range control panel insert. This part fits over the top of the control panel and marks the burner control settings. Over time, the control setting markers on this part could wear off so that they can no longer be seen. If this is the case, the control panel insert can be replaced so that the correct settings can be used. If this part becomes discolored or otherwise worn in any way, the appliance owner may wish to replace it for cosmetic reasons. Unplug the oven unit from its power source prior to attempting to replace this part. The person performing the replacement may wish to wear gloves to protect the hands during this process. This part is compatible with electric ranges that are manufactured by the GE brand.
